Bountiful Blessings Quilt Nearly Done

Well, I am finally working on the binding for the quilt. Have about 1 foot of the binding sewn onto the back side of the quilt...much more to go. I am not a fan of bindings...well, I like bindings but not putting them on. But putting that last stitch in a binding is a great feeling...so I guess I'll keep thinking of that to get me thru the process.

Went to Taos Adobe Quilting on Tuesday when we were in Taos and found fabric for the NorthWoods quilt I'm going to finish after the pot quilt is done. Of course, now that that fabric is home, I'm not sure it's the right thing for the sashing..I do have the batik for the borders however. The picture is not of Taos, the city, that is the Taos pueblo which is nearby. We did not go there.

So back to the binding. It's a gorgeous day here and I think I'll take the quilt outside and stitch in the shade on the porch and enjoy the quiet afternoon.
